This past Saturday, the Clinton High School strength team competed in the Region 8 Strength Meet at Woodruff High School. 

The summer weightlifting program ended this past Friday as this is a dead period for coaches and athletes to be together until practice starts next Friday. Plus, it gives the coaches a chance to attend the statewide clinic in Greenville to try to find that one extra technique or tip that may make a difference in being good or great for their sport.

Clinton High has all of the varsity and eight quarter players they were expecting for football workouts this summer. However, Summer Burn is about much more than just Red Devil football. Athletes from basketball, volleyball, cheerleading as well as rising eighth grade football players are all holding their own work outs at separate times this summer.
