Clinton opened its Valentine's Day game with 29 first quarter points to build a 20 point lead. They maintained that lead and were up by as many as 22 before Fairfield went on a fourth quarter run and cut the lead to ten. Clinton hung on from there to claim a 71-59 victory.

The Clinton junior varsity boys found themselves down ten with under five minutes to go in the game and a perfect season sitting in the balance. However, the Red Devils followed the game plan and fought back to win by one, 47-46 on the road against the Chapman Panthers.

A win over Chapman allowed Clinton to finish region play undefeated. Devaris Burton led the way against the Panthers with 16 first half points and 11 rebounds. He followed it up with 19 second half points and seven rebounds to carry the Red Devils to a 74-67 win.

On a night when leading scorer Devaris Burton was plagued with foul trouble, the Clinton Red Devils found a way to win and remain perfect in region play with a 54-38 victory over Blue Ridge.

Clinton’s junior varsity boys were led by Tyrii Rumph with 12 points Tuesday night. The Red Devils stay undefeated since Christmas with an impressive 45-32 victory over the Blue Ridge Tigers.
