The Clinton High School Soccer Team played host to Mid-Carolina last night.
It was a very close game. At the end of the half, the score was tied at 2 goals apiece. Neither team could score the next half, and the game went into overtime.
In overtime, the Red Devils were able to score a goal. With that goal, the Devils triumphed 3-2.
A.B. Simmons scored one goal. Anthony Henley scored two goals, including the game winner. Truett Burns had seven saves on the night.
With the win, the Red Devils rose to 6-9-0. They will play again at home against Chapman on Thursday, April 25. |
